I just finished my second large Moleskine notebook and now I'm starting to blog again. I've been MIA mostly because I've been enjoying getting back to analog and slowing things down. I've realized though that each medium has its benefits. I've been itching to type for so long but instead have been disciplining my handwriting practice. Almost every morning before I start my day, I've written for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes over an hour! I've been on this "early riser" routine where I go to bed around 10 and get up at 6. I get a lot more done and have more time do start my day the way I want to.
Now I'm back. Writing into the void. I'm not sure if there is anyone reading this yet. If so, please comment. I get so lonely around here. One of the reasons I've switched over to Blogger from Xanga is that there's a little more control of how the page looks and works. Among other cool features are audioblogging and sending email to post entries.
On the frame to the side of the posted entries, I've included "my status." I've seen this on other blogs and love the summary check in. In a glance you can see how I'm doing. I've also included below that my newest geek obsession, Last.fm. You can check out what I've been listening to, and if you click it, you can see in great detail my listening habits, if I'm listening to something right now, who I listen to the most, etc.. In one way or another, even if i don't blog, I can keep in touch that way.
I have to start getting ready for work. It feels good to be back.
